Key figures
The new treatment facility has the capacity to incinerate approximately 180,000 tonnes of wood waste per year. Primarily construction and demolition waste, but also wood waste from container parks and the industry.
Steam supplier
E-Wood will supply steam to the industrial steam network ECLUSE, an important lever for further reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions in the Antwerp port region and increasing the share of renewable energy.
